Meet Cynthia

Cynthia comes to MHS with 20+ years of office support staff experience.  Twelve of those twenty years were served at Mennonite Mission Network (and it’s former name of Mennonite Board of Missions).  Six of those twelve years she served as the Executive Assistant to the then Executive Director of Mennonite Mission Network, Stanley Green.  Cynthia joined our team in April, 2021 after a stent of semi-retirement.

When asked about the strongest attribute she is excited to bring to MHS, she cites her love for working with boards.  “I love meeting new people.  I love hosting events and making my board members feel welcomed.”  She is efficient and detail oriented which comes in very handy when planning events, coordinating travels, etc.

In her role as Administrative Coordinator, Cynthia provides administrative support and assistance to the President/CEO, COO, CFO and Goshen office.   She also serves as a primary board contact, primary coordinator for sponsored members and provides administrative support for the Medical Expense Plan (MEP).

In her spare time she enjoys photography, digital scrapbooking and travel, all of which goes hand-in-hand.
