COVID-19 Policy

COVID-19 Policy for Mennonite Health Assembly

MHS staff and board of directors are committed to prioritizing the health of those who attend any MHS in-person meeting and working to prevent COVID-19 infection. Even as we seek to reduce risk factors, we also acknowledge that all social interactions contain some risk. It is up to each individual attendee to determine for themselves what level of risk they are comfortable taking as it pertains to COVID-19.

We will follow public health official (including the Food and Drug Administration and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention) guidance on safe practices. The COVID-19 landscape is ever changing. It is our commitment to stay abreast of scientific research, advances in technology and developing information on best practices for hygiene and safety.

All in-person attendees will be required to be fully vaccinated and show proof of vaccination upon registering in person at the event. MHS will advise attendees of all local guidelines for mask wearing and safety procedures and require that these safety procedures be followed. The full COVID-19 Policy for MHS Meetings can be viewed here. The Hyatt Regency is taking a number of precautions to reduce risk of COVID infection spread. These can be seen here.

MHS acknowledges that this pandemic has brought many unexpected changes and we do not know what the future holds. We will continue to carefully monitor the local conditions in Greenville and around the country. Should MHS choose to cancel the event, all those who have registered will be issued a full refund. While we would like to provide a date by which we would make a decision to cancel, if necessary, experience has taught us that the pandemic environment can change quickly.

Any registered individual who is unable to attend due to a positive COVID test will be issued a full refund upon presenting proof of the positive test to info@mhsonline.org.
